Ready to restore your GLOW?
HALO Laser™ is the first hybrid fractional laser that delivers non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to the same microscopic treatment zone. What does this mean for you? The restorative power of an ablative treatment without the pain or downtime. HALO is great for most skin types, is tolerated better and has less downtime compared to traditional lasers.
The environment wreaks havoc on our skin from damaging UV rays to pollutants and chemicals, leaving our skin looking parched and aged. Fortunately, the skincare industry is bringing us revolutionary treatments like HALO to revitalize our skin and eliminate those tell-tale signs of aging: age spots, wrinkles, and uneven skin texture.
What’s best? There’s no surgery involved, the treatment requires little to no downtime, and you’re actually restoring the youthful structure of your skin (not just putting a bandaid on the problem). You’re left looking like your radiant, rested self in no time.
How does HALO Laser™ work?
The HALO Laser™ uses a combination of ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to repair the visible signs of aging, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, discoloration, enlarged pores, poor texture and uneven skin tone. HALO treatments improve every aspect of your skin with minimum discomfort and minimal downtime.
What’s the difference between HALO and Fraxel?
Traditional fractional lasers (like Fraxel) treat two layers of the skin, the epidermis (upper layer that contains our pigment-producing cells responsible for skin coloring) and the dermis (middle layer made up of collagen and elastin fibres that provide skin with strength, toughness, elasticity and pliability). As we age, our epidermis thins making blemishes more visible and collagen and elastin in the dermis are gradually lost causing crepey, sagging skin, and wrinkles.
Fractional laser treatment delivers a laser beam that is divided into thousands of tiny but deep columns of treatment into the skin. Within each column old epidermal pigmented cells are expelled and collagen in the dermis is penetrated causing a reaction that leads to collagen remodelling and new collagen formation.
Fractional lasers, both ablative and non-ablative have worked well, but ablative treatments (more effective) were painful and carried significant downtime. Non-ablative treatments had less pain and downtime, but delivered weaker results and required more treatments. Ablative and non-ablative treatments were separate.
HALO Laser™ is the world’s first hybrid fractional laser able to combine both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to the same treatment area — combining the deep structural improvements of ablative treatments with the faster healing of non-ablative treatments.
Does HALO work faster than traditional Fractional Laser?
HALO patients realize quicker optimal results with less downtime and typically need 1 or 2 less treatments than they would have needed with fractional laser.
Does HALO Laser™ hurt?
Most patients report minimal discomfort. We apply a topical numbing cream prior to the treatment for additional comfort.
How many HALO Laser™ treatments will I need?
Most patients see improvement after their first treatment, with optimal improvement after 2-3 treatments.
